Google Earth & Google Maps at the Palm Beach Tech Conference!

At the Palm Beach Tech Conference (2017) we led a double session workshop featuring Google Earth and Google Maps. The workshop gave us time for a deep dive to develop an activity ready for students. No prior geospatial experience was needed! These powerful tools support the integration of geospatial components and critical thinking into learning activities with ease on a Chromebook or other device. Regardless of grade level teachers found lots of spots in their curriculum that were ready for the enhanced learning and engagement possibilities realized with geospatial integration.
